Durian Garden Beginner Guide
The first session is a loop: plant the free seed, water, catch a glowing fruit, load the pickup, and sell at the central warehouse. I am not going to pretend there is one correct shop order after that. Two public routes disagree on the second plot, and I keep both.
The opening loop
- Take the free Build a Hut and the free farm plot. Game.Guide and the duriangarden.wiki both say that plot includes one Kradumthong seed, a parking spot, and a bat.
- Buy the water well for 50 Cash. Those same pages say it hands you a watering can with 3 uses, three basic tree tonics, and a headlamp.
- Hold a seed, face empty soil, and plant. Water the tree and the soil. Game.Guide says wet soil roughly doubles growth. That sentence is one database.
- A ripe durian glows. Interact to catch it in the bag. That catch animation is also described by one database plus the videos below.
- Call the pickup from the garage kiosk. Walk a fruit to the tailgate to load it. Two wikis put the bed at 100 kg.
- Drive to the golden drive-thru at the Durian Warehouse in the central market and sell.
Game.Guide’s market band is 0.76 to 1.24, and it says the best day pays about 63% more than the worst. I treat that band as a database reading, not a promise for tomorrow. The same database says a game day is 13.5 minutes, with the last 90 seconds as The Purge every night. Another wiki only says the night is periodic. Both lines stay on the Purge page.
Two upgrade orders
Game.Guide’s order: water well at 50, farm plot 3 at 2,500 (four more tree slots), Durian Barn at 5,000 (room for 50 fruit), then farm plot 2 at 7,500 (six more slots). The duriangarden.wiki order: well at 50, seeds around 200, a rubber plot at 5,000 plus 1,500 per tree, then a worker. The clash is the second piece of land: 7,500 in one write-up, 5,000 in the other. Buy from the label you see. I will not average 7,500 and 5,000 into a third price.
Rubber, the second wallet
Three pages agree on 5,000 to unlock rubber and 1,500 per tree. Game.Guide alone adds the rest: 15 minutes to grow, about 6 seconds to drag the cut, 10 minutes until the cup is full, 5 seconds to add acid, 360 Cash per kg at a 1.00 market, and an average cup near 1.27 kg. It also says rain ruins latex already in the cup, and that a small plot holds 9 trees while a large one holds 12. Prices in full are on values.
Workers
| Worker | Price | Daily pay | Job time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uncle Boon | 2,500 Cash | 120 | 2.6 s |
| Noi | 6,000 Cash | 200 | 1.8 s |
| Big Tong | 149 Robux | 250 | 1.3 s |
| Mali | 199 Robux | 250 | 0.9 s |
Those pages say workers water and apply tonic. They do not harvest. Trees stop fruiting after a limited run; a tree tonic is listed as adding 20 more fruit. That tonic line is one database. When you have cash to spare, the mutation table is the next decision, because a Rainbow fruit is the one the same database prices at three times a normal fruit.
FAQ
What is the fastest cash in the first hour?
Sell the free Kradumthong fruit, buy the 50 Cash well, and keep the truck moving. I do not print an hourly income. No public page measured one.
Should I buy rubber or a second plot first?
The wiki route buys rubber land at 5,000. The database route buys a barn at 5,000 and a 7,500 plot. They are different shopping lists, not two names for one purchase.
How do I know a durian is ready?
Game.Guide says it glows, then you interact and the character catches it. Videos of the same loop show the glow before the bag.
